The C.H.A.M.P.S. program offers high quality before and after school childcare for children in grades K-5.  The program provides an enriching environment with fun activities that are educational and recreational in focus.

Mansfield Summer Institute 2018

Mansfield's Summer Institute is an athletic/enrichment program for children in kindergarten through grade eight. The program is held from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Monday through Thursday for five weeks beginning June 25, 2018 at the Jordan Jackson and Qualter's Middle School.

Thank you for your interest in working for the Mansfield Summer Institute.
Each year MSI accepts a limited number of paid Jr. Counselor positions and 8th Grade Volunteers.
Positions are filled based on staffing needs and prior involvement with the program.

Summer of Champs is a 10 week, fun-filled summer childcare program for children in grades K through five.
We also offer before and aftercare for all programs that are running this summer.

 CHAMPS Before and Aftercare:


  • Is structured differently from a regular school day in order to provide varied experiences for the children
  • Supports academic learning by assisting children with their homework in our "Homework Clubs".
  • Encourages children to engage in hands-on learning activities that are vital to the development of critical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Exposes children to a wide range of experiences that are developmentally appropriate, academically enriching and physically engaging.
  • Provides fun, supervised activities that are geared towards promoting learning and peer interaction in a respectful, non-competitive way.
  • Will provide a healthy and nutritious snack for each child prepared by Mansfield Public School's Food Service.
  • Is staffed with experienced, caring professionals who strive to work together to meet the needs of each child with a child/staff ration of 14:1.
